Shiyue Zhao | 赵世越

I am currently at Huawei, working on embodied intelligence. I received my Ph.D. from Tsinghua University in June 2026 and was a visiting scholar at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. My research background spans vision-language-action (VLA) systems, robot decision-making and control, and reinforcement learning.

👨‍🎓 About Me

Hello! My name is Shiyue Zhao. I am currently at Huawei, working on embodied intelligence. I received my Ph.D. degree from the School of Vehicle and Mobility of Tsinghua University in June 2026, under the supervision of Prof. Junzhi Zhang.

I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from the School of Traffic and Transportation Engineering at Central South University in 2021. From October 2024 to September 2025, I was a visiting scholar at the Next Generation Mobility Systems Lab at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, under the guidance of Dr. Neda Masoud.

My current research focuses on embodied intelligence. My research background spans vision-language-action (VLA) systems for autonomous driving, wheeled robot decision-making and control, human-centered AI, and efficient reinforcement learning algorithms.
